DHCP server on 2003 server Vmware
Dear All
i have installed 2003 server on vmware. And kept the Network Adaptor settings on bridged:Connected directly to the physical network. I have installed DHCP server on 2003 server. But Client on my host PC and on the LAN pcs are not obtaining IP addresses I want to know is there any special configuration i have to make on vmware to work DHCP properly.

Hi,
If you manually set a client up with a valid (static) address in the range that it should get, are you able to PING the DHCP server..?I've seen the light... It was green, flashy and attached to a Network Interface Card...Whenever someone says "You can't miss it", I invariably do...

Wait you installed the DHCP service on the vmware server you are trying to get an IP address from?

Please clarify your post and please tell us what verison of vmware you are running (im assuming its workstation)
