Question Go from XP 64 to Win 7

Is there an easy way to go from Windows XP 64 to Windows 7 without formatting? Can I simply upgrade without losing all my stuff?

Edit- Ahh shit. I found this and it says a custom installation will erase all my crap. Forgetaboutit. Upgrading from Windows XP to Windows 7 - Help & How-to - Microsoft Windows

XP to 7 is a nuke job. Considering XP support is rapidly dwindling and you'll find more and more software beginning to require 7, the sooner you bite the bullet the better.
    Good job, friend-of-friends!

Yeah, I have to bite the bullet soon I guess. I like to build a new computer with at least an i5 or i7 proc. I'm currently using a GTX 560TI with a Q6600 and I'm bottlenecked.
