    Win 7 Update prompt over and over

     
    Windows keeps prompting me to install these updates over and over even though they show installed successfully. I tried hotfix and manual download to no avail. A couple of months ago I had to uninstall .net framework to fix Does anyone know a better fix?

    If you manually d/l and install them and can verify that they are successfully installed, I would just mute them within the update manager.

    This applies to XP but it might work for this as well
    FYI Recent Windows XP causes update loop
