Booting up OS simultaneously
I have ordered a new HDD as my current one is failing, however, I won't have time to shift all my apps and data onto the new drive in one sitting. I prefer to do it gradually.
To do this, I need some software that will allow me to boot up my current HDD, and then once logged in, allow me to launch my new HDD OS so I can install apps while working on my current HDD

It would be easier to install the OS to the new drive and then treat the old drive as a data drive and pull the applications and data off of it that way.

You can't run two OS's like that.
Should consider CLONING the old drive to the new.Imagine a world where dogs took bad owners to the pound...
