Problem Install Windows XP
My PC's original & only internal hard drive was failing & couldn\'t be cloned according to Paragon Partition Manager, so I bought a new hard drive. However, Windows XP installed itself on the K drive, not the C drive & Windows XP does not recognize my Ethernet card (so I cannot connect to the internet), my sound card, my video card, & one other item . The C drive is now assigned to one of my card reader slots. How do I fix this? Do I have to reinstall Windows XP with the internal card reader disconnected? Is this problem the reason why I cannot connect to the internet?
Thank you.

The drive letter really doesn't matter much but if you want to change hit here are the steps.
How to restore the system/boot drive letter in Windows
How to change drive letter assignments in Windows XP
As for your network card and other devices not working you'll need to install the correct drivers. If you look on the manufactures site for the network card and each of the other devices or the manufactures site for the motherboard if these aren't stand alone cards, you can find them and either put them on a CD/DVD or flash drive.Last edited by RicheemxX; September 23rd, 2012 at 05:28 PM.
