    E-Mail Question

What would happen if I were to forward the spam E-Mails I get back to the
sender or to one of the other spammers?

You could be verifying to the spammers that they have a valid email address for YOU.

Spammers also use botnets or otherwise spoof the address from which the mail comes from. So the return address could actually be another victim.
    Good job, friend-of-friends!

Does forwarding spam to, spam@uce.gov, verify an address?

As long as all you are doing is fwd'ing it then they shouldn't have any way to track it. Keep in mind though, if its opened in some cases they can see that you opened it or it could contain malicious code. Damn rich text emails can be used to hide a bunch of crap these days.
