    Question time difference

    hi all

if i'm not mistaken, this will be my very 1st thread in here

any way, i would like to know or inquire and ask assistance from our experts if theirs a way that in my computer, their will be two (2) time synchronization?

i mean the time set from our taskbar was based on USA Pacific Time-standard so definitely it will be capture by the time from the Google Desktop Sidebar-application which is the Google Gadgets Analog Clock

i want that the time in the taskbar will remain based on the USA Pacific Time-standard as it was intended to sync all transactions from the server. however, i want or is their a way that the time in Google Gadgets Analog Clock can be set to my actual local time?

    their must be ways (hopefully)

Well this might sound like a stupid question but had you checked the gadgets settings to see if it lets you customize your time or set and off-set? Since I'm assuming the gadget is using your system time and not some online server that would really be the only way I could see that you'd be able to make any changes w/o affecting the entire PC.

yes RicheemxX i've already checked the gadgets settings if it lets me customize the time or set/off-set but it has no parameter settings

it's passive and i guess too dependent on system time. perhaps it is what it designed for

    any other advise or suggestions

Well if the widget isn't allowing you to make the needed changes then I can't think of anything you can do short of tying another widget. If you just want separate timezone to show you can try this

Download: Microsoft Time Zone (Standard) - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

it will only work in the task-bar but it gives options for a multiple locations

The Clock Gadget in Win 7 lets you chose the System time or any of the standard +- time zones.

There are so many free clock apps on the net - odds are you can find one that will work like you want. In fact - I used to have one that would do multi gadget clocks for different time zones. Helped me keep take of when main office in India would be shutting down for the day.

In addition, it can automatically synchronizes your system clock to any NTP (Network Time Protocol) server accessible over the internet.
