Recent web sites visited
In Internet explorer 8, Windows XP Pro, I used to click on the arrow at the right of the address and I could see the recent web sites visited, I no longer can. I would like to know how to be able again to scroll to see last sites visited.
Thank you

Have you made any recent changes that might impact IE and clearing cookies and cache? Added a new program or something? Lots of program like antispyware/anti-malware will automatically clean your cookies and cache for you. If you have something like desktop clean-up that runs automatically sometimes this will do the same.
If none of that sounds like it might be the problem then try visiting a few sites just to see if its still doing so. If no sites show then you might want to clear your cookies and cache anyways, then double check your IE options and check again.

You should be able to press CTRL-H and open the history tab and see them that way also

I find thats more reliable then looking in the address bar drop down list. (Some links i could only find in the history tab)
Good luck

the arrow at the right of the address -> that shows you FAVORITE sites you've selected.
The arrow at the right of the back/forward button will show you "History/Recent" pages of where you've been.Imagine a world where dogs took bad owners to the pound...

When I open internet on Google, I don't have access to the arrow on the lef of the address, but I used to click on the arrow at the right of the address to get the recent sites visited and now when I click on that arrow I don't have the recent sites visited.
I had that problem once before and I believe the I went to "Internet options" to find the solution, but I can't find it this time.
