Windows XP Pro info

I Installed XP Pro over Corprate (no of corse not a legit copy but now i have a real copy) It was fine till i had to activate it. I couldnt do it at instalation i had to do it when i logged in and it said i had 0 days left even tho I just installed it. Does anyone know why this happend? (Also I checked the key to make sure it is corret and it was)

Also I got this copy for free from Microsoft! (Gotta love living near them I did a Usability study)

If anyone has a clue why this was. And also can I get a version number (qfe and all) for Corprate, Pro, and Home

That may be the problem.

u might as well just wipe clean and reinstall your "legit" version

well It did work I know it did because the product id is diffrent. All i asked for really was the version numbers of Coprate and Pro. The version I have the number seems diffrent too.
