i wake up to see it finished, but with an error: insufficiant resources exsist for whatever.. when it was copying it to the disk at the very end.. what the heck?
how can i prevent that next time.. i wanna do it myself.. but if i cant.. i would ask someone else

    thanks

i had saved it to d:/.. should i try c:/? there is enough room there barely for it...

If there is more than 700mb free, you should be fine.

Probably need either a bigger swap file or you have too many programs runnning.

If you are dlingn with IE or something, I reccomend getting either Getright or DAP. Both allow you to resume Dls (Opera does too, but it's nto as rubust as these two progs).

    DAP:

Getright (I find this program better for dling linux with):

i happen to like getright for iso downloading... it can resume lost dl's and also it can split them up and download from several sources...

512 is a good size I have found.

Also, set the min and max to the same size. Makes the computer run faster.

    Jacob Jacob Jacob...
I'll bet you're downloading with IE?
    Little catch for ya...
If you tell IE to download to D: it FIRST downloads to the temporary internet files folder (usually on C) and THEN moves it to D: .... crappy downloader

Welcome back to the net, sounds like DSL is working lol

Swapfile won't help that part, it doesn't download into the swap
Just that stupid temporary internet files folder

    Welcome to broadband
Now if I could just get my cable modem into the broadband world lol
