I just finished installing Triple Boot: Win98 SE, Win2000 Pro and RedHat Linux 7.2.
I initially had problems with Linux not seeing the partition set aside for it ... it took a week to get it installed. The bad thing is, is that I dont even know what I did to get it to see the partition.
AnyHooo ... I have never used Linux before so i am sure I will have some questions for all you Linux Gurus. <Bowing Humbly>

Nice, poondoogy!
I had a triple boot with winXP, win98SE and RH7.1. But I killed win98se 'cause my son messed it up, so I sent him back to his own PC!
I might try a quad boot with winXP, RH 7.3, Lycoris and Mandrake 8.x soon as I want to try diff flavours of Linux at the same time. Will be looking for help if I do try this, I think
Cheers

Congrats dude. My best is a triple boot with 98se, W2k Pro, and XP Pro. 98se and XP Pro are gone now. W2k all the way now. |

i'm not a big linux user but i installed the lycoris distro recently and found it to be a little slower than rh or mandrake.
the look & feel of the desktop though, does resemble xp. hmmm, now on second thought, maybe that 'sluggishness' i spoke about really was deliberately to keep in tune with the real xp. |

Good job PoonDoggy! I am currently tripple booting Win98/WinXP/Mandrake 8.2. I find myself using Mandrake 90% of the time even though I know less about it than the 2 flavors of windows. Having a good time learning Linux though. Quote: |

| That's why I won't let the kids on my PC mickwish. I spend more time fixing fubared things on their PC than I would like to admit. Guess that's why I seldom have any problem with mine.

Hey, great job PD! I'm still single booting...never really had a need to try the dual thing, especially not on my computer while it's working so well!
