W2K/XP driver question.
I have a old 56K modem that I'm am going to give to my friend. Its a winmodem. My friend has WinXP home edition, but I could only find drivers for win9x/win2k, will the Win2k drivers work with winXP?

Well it is a GVC

They don't seem to have any WinXP drivers on their site.

Is it the Soft-modem with the ROCKWELL 11229-14 & 20437
chipset?

if you can't find xp drivers, i'd certainly try the w2k ones...

Well according the web site it uses the
Conexant chipset - R6795-11

...in my search for a driver (customer had long since lost all disks that originally came with it).
