WinXP and "sysoc.inf" file

Did anybody notice now, that if you modify the "sysoc.inf" file in \WINDOWS\inf that you can't add/remove components like you used to?

At least if you have SP1 installed now. I tried dispelling this by editing only one line even, yet if I do, it doesn't allow you to add/remove components.

Anybody else tried it yet?

What kind of problem is it giving you?

I know if you remove all the "HIDE"'s out of the sysoc.inf, it messes up.. But XP Pro has always done that...

The ones you need to leave "HIDE" in are as follows:

TerminalServer, msmsgs, TabletPC, netfx

If I leave those, my Add/Remove Programs-> Windows Comp. is just fine. If I remove them, I have messed up checkboxes without any text next to them, and the checks cannot be removed.
