    XP Desktop Icon names

In windows XP, there is this cool feature that puts a shadow behind the text of your icons. Well, on the background I have, that shadow looks horrible. So, I went into system properties, advanced, and unchecked "Use drop shadows for icon labels on the desktop." This removed the shadows, but added some ugly blue colored square under all of my icons. Is there a way in windows (or a program) that let's me remove the shadow without losing the transparency?

Just in case you don't understand I will try and post a little picure.

There are lots of utilities to do this including a small file called transparent.exe

Try a google search on transparent icons.

I have this freeware and if you want I can email it to you. Small size - 25kb.
