Hello:

Photoshop 6.0 was put on our computers at work. I've never used it before, and Boy, O, boy, am I lost. I've seen some work just on this site alone done with that program, and WOW, is all I can say..
So my question is, can anyone lead me to some tips, links, ANYTHING to get started to learn how to use this program.

Try this: do a Google search for "photoshop + tutorial" (without the quotes).

If you want to see some impressive work from our resident artists go to the Graphic Design of our Gallery ...some pretty impressive work there.

If you didn't get a manual you should buy a book. There are a lot of them. In the meantime, just "play" with it, learn how to use the tools. The help files are extensive. Don't expect to grasp it all at once. Photoshopping is really a collection of skills that you learn one at a time. Maybe start by retouching some photos.
