I remember a little while ago there was a great link to MS's own web site that showed how to change the product key on windows XP. Well, this guy has done them one better.
Seems like a handy little utility.

just to clarify before the flaming...it says that it re-activates the activation...so it looks legit...

Easy shahani, say you're one of the corporations that had one of those legit keys leaked that you got from a large vendor *cough*dell*cough*
You would probably like to install SP1 without it killing your copies now wouldn't you.....

Microsoft will give them correct keys as they recognised this may be a problem before they released SP1, however, there have been measures introduced to prevent corps leaking their keys.

But we find it useful sometimes to just load on the operating system, even if the customer has lost their key number. Then once they bring it in, we can swap them back before it goes back out. |
