I just installed Mandrake 9 and am impressed thus far. During installatin it gave me the option to download updates for the software. I did. The progress bar showed up and downloaded all the updates. upon finishing the installation I don't have internet access. I'm using wireless and have a pcmcia card and adapter from dlink. I don't get it. Why would it download updates and yet when it finished installing, I have no internet access. how do i go about changing this? If it helps, i'm using the KDE gui.
