nv and drake 9
got drake 9.0 running perfect and i tried installing the newest detonators , and then i wouldnt boot!
im playing dumb coz i have limited experience with drivers in linux!
anyone point me to a guide or tips on installing them properly?

Step 1) get the tarballs. (.tar.gz)
Step 2) Follow this wonderfully written guide

i need help with this one
the error i receive is
saying you apear to be compiling the nvdriver kernel module with a compiler different to the running kernel this can cause instability
failed cc sanity check bailing out!
if any one can give me any pointers i would be very greatful!

IMO, wrong compiler has 3 exits:
First, get the correct compiler, natch.
Second, get the correct source for the compiler you are using, not likely.
Third, find out if the compiler allows proper handling of old code in a compatibility mode.
