help me get rid of my boot menu!

OK...

So, i set up a dual boot with 98se and 2k. Then i decided that i just want to run 2k only since just about everything works on 2k now.

So i deleted the 2 partitions, and combined the space into a 30gig partition. (I have anoter 30 gig partition for data) formatted and reinstalled 2k.

sounds ok right?

but....I still get a boot selection menu but both selections are Win2k!....

how can i get rid of this? why is it happening? it's not something that i CAN'T live with, but adds an extra step or 30sec to my boot time if you know what i mean...

thanks in advance!

It is something I found on my PC - I had (6) load options. Formatted all the little drives into one main one and reinstalled 2k. All the old options exist, but there is no other trace of them. Where are they stored?

What you do is, Right click on My Computer> Click on Properties> System Properties Appears> Click on the Advance Tab>Click on the Satartup and Recovery Setting> Untick were it says Time to display list of opearating Systems, that should do it!

sweet. I did this and unchecked where it says something like " show boot list " or something like that and that took care of the problem.

this place is great.
