| Images won't load on Opera
the title is self-explanatory. I'm running Opera 6.05 registered under winXP. My firewall is ZoneAlarm 3.1.395. Even the smilies that i can add aren't loading on this page...unless i right click and do "reload image". So very annoying...anybody have suggestions?

clear your cache, it could be getting corrupted.
C:\Program Files\Opera\Cache4 ... just whack everything in the directory, it will regenerate it (dont whack the news folder if it exists inthere)

What does it say under your 'Multimedia' settings under 'Prefrences'?
Make sure "Show Images" is checked. |

Have you tried Opera logged in as a different user? If it works logged in as someone else then you've just got a setting problem. You'll have to uninstall it and then remove whatever Opera installed to your profile and then reinstall it.
If it doesn't work after you log in as someone else then you probably better uninstall and reinstall it. Hopefully that will fix it.
Regards.. |

ok, if i uninstall Opera and reinstall it how do i keep my favorites or transfer them to IE or something? I need my favorites intact, and would've uninstalled it earlier but didn't know how, thx. And i DID actually go into the folder and delete the files but it still doesn't work. |

There's a file in the opera directory called "opera6.adr" or "opera5.adr"
Just copy that elsewhere, as it has all your bookmarks. After you reinstall, just copy it back to the opera directory (overwriting the default install one) and poof, they're back |
