    opera crashing!!!

     
    Hi there,

    I *was* using opera 6.05 in win2kpro until it started crashing as soon as i launch it. I've been a regular opera user for more than a year now, haven't had this problem.

    As soon as i launch it, it crashes after about 10 secs or so. "Your program has done something illegal and we have to close it", or some such error message.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled opera without any luck.

    Any ideas anyone??

    I have the same problem under XP. Uninstalling and reinstalling helps. I think going to some websites does this. Also I got a virus at one website which my NAV caught but I think its some bad aplets causing this.

    I haven't had troubles with mine, but now am using mozilla 1.2. It works very well too.
