| Opera for Linux font problem
Ok all of the fonts look OK, but my problem is on the the buttons and drop down boxes (that are not images) the font is in a script font
Also in the text fields where you type its in script and near impossible to read
I checked konqueror and those buttons look good. Just seems to effect opera
I think I checked the fonts correctly in opera, I can't find anything that looks like it maybe a script font
The text on the webpages are fine, but like the Submit New Thread, Preview post and the rest of buttons are REALLY small and in script font so i can't read them
Any ideas how to change that?
I use Opera 6.10 on linux (RH 8.0) |

That's a wierd one, but if you've got all the fonts set to normal ones in the font settings, then try turning off page styles and fonts (under documents->page styles)
Also, you might try the 6.11 release for linux...

Ok finally got around to updatin gto 6.11 but no luck... but the mystery gets thicker!!
(man this sucks writing in this font lol... I have no clue what I'm writing!)
If I go to www.opera.com and go to the downooad page, they have a dropdown box for the download locations.. that one is FINE!! arghhhh
but drop downs here are messed up... BUT When I go to www.bitbenderforums.com they are also messed up so not sure if its something funky with the way vbulletin does their dropdowns?! I have no freakin' clue lol
But I can't use opera like this
I tried various combinations for hte documents tab but nothing yet |

I went into the fonts and colors part and changed 'em all to Helvetica. Get rid of the Times and Courier. |

I actually went and installed an older version because of the weird font in the text box thing......... ???? I couldn't figure it out either......... my solution:
I opened a text editor.......wrote out my text........and pasted it into the text box......... at least I could read what I was writing
Vass........ could you post the link to the sourceforge page. Thanks. |
