Winxp icons weird?

I was playing around with themes. i didn't like any and just wanted to go back to the orginal. but when i do it. the shadow of the icons are blue?

can i fix this?

Right click on empty screen to bring up display properties, and then change your bg colour to balck. XP usually does this itself. Could it be a video card problem?

System Properties, Advance Tab, Click the Settings tab under Performance, make sure there is a check mark at Use drop shadows for icon labels on the Desktop. This makes the label transparent again.

While you're at it, you can always customize the performance and just pick which one's you want.
