| What other OS's were made before Windows 95?
Have there been any other operating systems that were made with a GUI, during the time before Windows 95? Aside from earlier Windows systems, Linux and OS/2 Warp, were there any others? I once saw an ad in an old DOS magazine for some sort of OS that looked like Windows 3.1, but was simpler, and cheaper...though I've forgotten what it was called... |

Desqview from Quarterdeck (QEMM) was a GUI multitasking eviorment. But just like Windows 1, 2/286, 386, 3.0, 3.1, WFW3.11, it ran on top of DOS so I don't know if it qualifies as an OS. |
