office xp problem

when i open office xp it takes a long time for it to open, and before it opens it says "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is unavailable". Plus it gives you the options to Retry, Work offline or cancel. It will only open if you work offline. Yes i have internet connection..

running windows xp pro...

Has it ever worked?
It sounds like a Binder problem maybe. Have you tried repairing the installation?

yes it use to work, tried to un-install and re-install. still does the same thing.

I had the same problem with using my laptop on our network at work. I had the user name for XP set to the same as my username on the domain. When I changed my user name/account on my laptop, the problem went away.
