    [MSExcel] Is there a way...

Is there a way to select a column, then have it delete all duplicate cell entries (alpha-numeric data) in the column?

I am ascend sorting them so I can see all the duplicates, I am hoping there is a quick way to delete the dupes instead of doing it by hand.

    Thanks.

    Oooh, I figured it out.

Select the column. Go Data -> Filter -> Advanced Filter. Click the unique checkbox and hit okay. Rock on me.

sorry didn't get a chance to reply earlier.. work was a real bear tonight.

I was going to suggest importing into access and doing a select distinct.
I know how much you love sql
