    PowerPoint Question

My sister does lots of powerpoint stuff.

here is what she wants to do.

She wants to make a CD with the powerpoint presentation on it and also to have some sort of powerpoint "reader" on the cd as well so the people wont need to install powerpoint.

I think I have seen this discussed in the forums before.

Also she wants to have the sound on the cd as well as possibly an html page to pop up with a link to play the presentation if it doesnt auto start.

As far as a simple html page she could go with a word doc with html type links yes?

And as far as music she would just put that on the cd as well?

So basically I am wanting a totally self sufficient cd with everything on it to run a presentation...is that doable??

I am not a powerpoint user so forgive the inaccuracies of my questions but I think I got the gist of the point across.

    Any ideas, JP

As far as the self supporting part, you can do a pack and go. This is found under the File menu. It allows you to "pack" everything into a file that will run w/o having Powerpoint on the machine.

Back in seventh grade, i used to make pp movies all the time. Ahh...those were the days. About the music, i always found it a pain in the @ss to record it on while doing it, so i just had my music on cd's and would put it on when i needed it.

Does she have this ppp on a webpage? I'm not sure what you are saying.

No just a page on the cd that pops up with a link to start the presentation.

I am under the impression that html doesnt have to be online to work

I have a cdrom of some stuff and it came with an html page with menus and stuff...obviously the html links just go to the cdrom..they arent trying to conenct to the internet...(although they could)
