Changing the owner in Office XP
Ok so I am installing Office XP at work and type the guys name wrong. Where can I change this information? I looked through the registry and found nothing.

Look for this 9040110900063D11C8EF00054038389C
in the registry. Then go the the "InstallProperties" key below it.
You should see the "RegCompany" and "RegOwner" STRINGS in the right-pane.
That is all.
EDIT - Actually, it's way down in there.
Start your search after clicking on the;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
Microsoft
Windows
CurrentVersion
Installer
UserData
S-1-x-xx

For some reason I do not have anything on the right panel when clicking on Products.

That's where you start the search.
Click on 'Products' then 'Edit' and 'Find'. That's where you plug-in the # above.
Then go down to the "InstallProperties" key.

After following the directions above I found my office xp info under another number that also begins with 9040. So maybe the number is different for each officexp installtion.
