| I can't get rid of this folder!!
I have a folder that was created because I set the option in trillian to create a new folder (under the receiving user's name). A friend was sending a file to me through trillian and I cancelled it and now I can't delete it, I can't even check its properties, can't access it, and can't even scan it for viruses. But yet it's visible!
I want to get rid of this folder! some help?
Using Windows XP
excuse my grammar, in a rush. thanks in advance.. |

Have you tried rebooting to make sure that Windows isn't still accessing it somehow? |

yep, that's what i did just before posting.
when you try to do anything with the folder, it doesn't give me the error message about it being in use by another application, it says the original source cannot be found. |

yep, trllian is closed and doesn't load up on start up.
and no, I can't rename it nor can I copy/cut/paste it.
I even asked the same guy to send me a random file so it could be placed into that folder but trillian would just give me the saving dialog box and ask where it should be placed.
That folder is locked down good.

Any luck with DOS?
Maybe trying...
Open cmd prompt
Cntrl-alt-del and go to processes, end Explorer.exe, close task manager
in cmd promtp, delete the folder...
Cntrl-alt-del again, run explorer.exe (or maybe reboot instead)
Just a shot!
