How to get rid of the nasty "Windows Installer" meaage?

Recently whenever I start my computer (Windows 2000 Professional), the nasty "Windows Installer" message will pop up, with " incorrect command line parameters ....".

How could I get rid of it?

    Thanks!

Did you just install/uninstall some software recently?

You might need to check out the 'Run' locations in the registry.

A quick utility is Startup Control Panel

It will tell you what is starting when your PC boots. It sounds like either an install or uninstall was botched and now it keeps trying to run. You might find the .msi with the utility above and disable it.
