    virtual memory

     
    how come my computer always runs out of virtual memory no matter what im doing??? i can load my win XP up then just restart it then XP complains its out of virtual memory.

    im running win xp (no SP1)
    256 of sdram
    athlon 1800
    80 gig harddrive
    geforce 2 400mx

    How full is your hard drive? Have you changed the settings for virtual memory on your machine?

    ive got 36 gig free and ive never chanced the virtual memory settings and i dont know how to. my other computer has the sme problem
