My brother has an old IBM laptop and it has a small 12-13 screen. Well, with MSN's new IE, it has a huge border to the left and on the top. How do you get rid of the borders.
With the default setting of the large borders, it give a screen area of about 7x7... YUCK
TIA!

I don't know how to get rid of it, but is there any compelling reason he can't just use IE instead of MSN?
I know for a fact the MSN Explorer is not necessary for the MSN Internet service as my parents at home happily use IE 6 and MSN together.
Just a suggestion.

He is using MSN explorer not IE ..
Found this on MSN explorer`s HP, so you can see that they both are not the same: Quote: |
MSN Explorer has a new look and feel! MSN Explorer looks quite different from Internet Explorer, and it has greater capabilities. Many of the buttons and controls have been moved or changed. MSN Explorer has also replaced Internet Explorer with a new Web browser. When you sign in to MSN, you can still use Internet Explorer to surf the Web, but the MSN Explorer window will always open first.
| I`m sorry, i don`t know how to get rid of it as i never used MSN explorer.. i suggest to uninstall it and install IE6 instead ..

Glad it worked ..
I use:
IE6 (some times Netscape6.2) with my win2k
IE5.5 With my win98
I just got used to the friendly user interface from IE in general .. i`d like to try Opera but many say it hasn`t the language support that IE have ..
So i need multi-language browser .. that is why IE my main one ...

i use ie 5.5... ie 6 just slowed down my system too much.
i don't use netscape... because... well all netscape products are evil...
and i refuse to use opera because i won't pay for anything i can get for free (i know, there's the free cersion, but i don't feel like having a huge banner ad taking up a good chunk of my screen space. BOO OPERA!) |
