| Opera: where'd my tabs go?
Well, i got opera pretty much for 1 reason, and that was that i could run several webpages within one window, rather than 30 instances of IE that clutter my start bar with endless windows.
Where is the setting to restore the tabs back to existance? If you can't find that, then where is the good ol' restore defaults setting?
Thanks-
opera 7.01 |

| sorry, i dont see
my question is i want opera to be able to tab like netscape does in this picture. i can just use the middle mouse button in netscape to open new pages in a tabbed window yet i cant seem to get it in opera 7.11. i have the view page bat at the top as well and have the "open pages in new windows" set without "reuse existing page"
any idea? |

UNcheck "open pages in new window" that will open them in new WINDOWS... not new tabs
You should be able to customize the mouse shortcuts to allow the middle button to open a new tab on the link.

hey vass, great. i know you dig opera alot and since you helped me out let me ask you, the .WMV plugin. where to get and how to install it? i have a site i use which has a button that says "click" which asks you to download the plugin but i just get a page cant be displayed. if i click on a link that needs windows media player to open and play, thats fine. but when the player is built into the site is when i have a problem. hope im explaining myself good enough.

Ya I know about that problem.. not sure of a solution though
Opera can use some of netscapes plugins so maybe they have one that works but don't know for sure I've always had to resort to internet exploder for that junk.
sucks :-/
--- edit ---
Odd
It works now apparently http://my.opera.com/forums/showthrea...&highlight=wmv
Here is a thread from Opera's forums regarding the topic... there is a suggestion of adding akey to the registry you could try or copying the plugin
