    Question Can Linux do RAID? Please Look!

     
    When i try to install red hat linux 8 i cant because of my raid 0 array. is it possible to install linux with raid?
    How do you do it?

    Yes Linux can handle raid configurations but you will need to load the proper kernel module for it. If you post some details about your system someone here is bound to be able to sort you out.

    HERE is another person that had some problems with RAID 0 w/ Redhat 8.0.

    Looks like there are only drivers for < Redhat 7.3 as of last time I checked. Mandrake 9.0 should find it automatically. You can do software RAID 0 with linux. Find more HERE.
