I can only open mp3's via mycomputer if i "open as" but if i click on it it says it can't find wmplayer.exe
I've tried deleting the file type from the folders option, no luck...
I also have it selected so it always open with wmplayer |

I have winamp, i just want to be able to click on the file to hear it in WMP instead of having to > open as
My main MP3's are in winamp list, but if i download a MP3 just for the heck of it, not wanting to put it in my playlist, i want to listen to it via WMP so my playlist doesn't get screwed up.. |

Heh, then just right click on the file and theres an option that says 'Enqueue in WinAmp'. It will enqueue it into winamp, and it wont mess up your playlist. |

Well, I was just giving you an easy alternative because WMP sucks.
Have you tried updating WMP to the most current version? |

Did you know you can save your playlists in Winamp? Do that, and reopen it once you've listen to a single file or something.
I hate WMP. |

Guys, i want mp3s to open in WMP, your not really helping me, when i double click on them the say WMPLAYER.EXE doesn't exist but it does in the program files folder... I've tried deleting the mp3 extension in tools > folder options and selecting the file, but it still does it..
Now can i get help with my problem and not what program to use to open my mp3s? |

In folder options->mp3 there has to be an error in the path of the program opening.
Right click on mp3->Select 'open with...', browse for mp3 and tick 'always use this program for opening these types of files'.
