Large icons in Start Menu

How can I make the icons in the start menu bigger. I already put my icons to large but I guess that doesnt seem to work. I know the icons in the start menu can get bigger because I had it b4 but know i dunno its gone and when I try to put it back, its not there.
Does any1 know how to make it larger?
Thank you

I don't know of any way besides changing from "Small icons" to "Large icons" in the Start Menu properties.

You're probably used to "Classic View".

u can try using TweakUI. it is a program provided my M$ to let users tweak their system more than would normally be possible. there is an option in there to resize icons(i think, not sure). also try looking under the appearance tab in the desktop properties. there is an option to resize icons there also. but im not sure if this only works for icons on the desktop, or for all icons. if all else fails u could always reduce your screen resolution and make EVERYTHING bigger
