New to WinXP Home- Send to Folder?
I have just switched from Win98SE to WinXP Home with a new computer.
Question: How do I get to the "Send to" folder?
In Win98 it used to be in the windows folder but with the new system I can't find it.
Also, it's difficult for me to send pictures via email in Outlook Express 6 and a dial up connection.
Most of the time I have to give it several tries just to send one picture.
Should I compress it somehow?
I use the "insert picture" in the toolbar in OE and then downsize it with the handles.
Am I doing it wrong?
Any advice you can give me would be great. Thanks, Ann

im soo sory! windows xp is like second nature to me now....
i switched about 8months ago...from winME
about the send to folder, plz describe it to me, im not familiar with it i never used win98 or dont' remember ..... now i do know that if you rightclick on any file you can choose "send to" from the menu
about the pictures... in outlook... if u chat on aIM you will recognize that small little picture of a mountain and sun.... very small yellow icon on the far right middle....
that is your insert picture... then just type in the location or browse it around..
OR..... insert picture from file at the top menu..
win XP is just like win 98 and ME except, its alot easier, faster and PRETTIER..... dont' be intimidated.... and if you dont like the blue appearance... you can always switch back to the "windows classic style" and have your startmenu classic style too

To get to the sendto folder just go to the root of the drive where xp is installed and go to F:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\SendTo
It is a hidden folder so it would be easier just to type that in or if you want to be able to see it just go to My Computer and go up to tools, folder options, view, and click on view hidden folders. Then you can add what you want to the folder.
