How do I format/Install windows with a USB keyboard?
I am going to add an 8gig hard drive to my server computer. I want windows to be on this drive, but since I have a USB keyboard, I can't format the drive or install windows. When I load the windows 98 boot disk and I need to use the keyboard, it won't work. I can't connect a PS2 keyboard as my PS2 just stopped working. Should I format the drive on my other computer and install windows on it, then take it out and put it in my server computer?

Check in the BIOS to see if there is 'USB Keyboard support' or 'USB Function for DOS' to be enabled. That might work. Also see if there is a DOS driver for your keyboard from the manufacturer's site. Just jam this into config.sys on your boot disk and you should be set.
Other than that I don't know. I have had it working before with no problems, but that was on one of those Legacy-free mobos._____

Looks easy-peasy to circumvent tags: 1.) Open up or snag a dormant FB, subscribe to a TV fan-girl forum, dating site, twitter feed, instagram, school forum etc. whatever as a teenie. Load it up...
