Topic: I can only download 2 things at at time with windows xp pro. Anyway for me to change this? With 98 I could download as many as I wanted at a time.....

Downloading issue with windows XP?

I can only download 2 things at at time with windows xp pro. Anyway for me to change this? With 98 I could download as many as I wanted at a time..

I need assistance with this. when I follow the directions on the link they are not correct or should I say they aren't in exact terms. When I get to internet settings and click on edit there is no "add value" as discribed in the directions.
I have windows XP pro. I bet its something extremely simple, but i'm a by the book-to a T kinda guy..

In the regisrty editor go to Edit, then to New, slide over to Key, then down to Dword.
