winipcfg on win95,win98
Hello,
Anyone know how I can store/write the "winipcfg" output to a text file in win98,win95.

You are trying to save the info that shows up? Besides writing it down the only thing I can think of is to hit the "Prt Scr" key, open up Paint ,Under "Edit" paste it. Then save it or print it. Maybe someone else has a better idea. That will take a pic of your desktop. As far as text file , I've no ideas.

perhaps you could run ipconfig from the command prompt and copy the output there, then add it to a text file.

From a Command Prompt;
"winipcfg >c:\winipcfg.txt"

start /w winipcfg -all -batch
move /y winipcfg.out pick-your-own-filename
Tried this in W2K but could not get it to work. Might work in 95 or 98 though.
From google
more indepth but should work.

Evilrick's way works.
YOu can even add the -all switch to get all the info.
winipcfg -all >c:\filename.txt

Ok, I got it. The only way I could get it to work was like this;
winipcfg /all /batch
Creates a text file called "winipcfg.out"

I agree, closest I could get to my work was ~9 miles away. :(
