i cant startup the pc/os :\

are my files on the hd gone forever?

did you install any new hardware?

did you run chkdsk /f liked the screen said?

did you have anti virus?

Your files are not gone. Just because you can't boot a drive normally doesn't mean the data on it is corrupt. In a worst case scenario, you can make this drive a slave in another pc and access the data that way. If you have data (that YOU want) on this drive, don't reload the os or format this drive.

That is a good idea meese. While you are at it, check the drive for errors when on the other machine.

~i didnt install any new hardware~ i just had problems with my cpu and fan and mb and stuffs like that
.. and i tried many thing like connecting with a new fan ++

how do i run chkdsk? or how do i get to the dos?
yeah and i did have anti virus installed on that hd.
