strange it's actually something i downloaded and wanted to try but it was a very big downlod (110mb) so they cut it up in little chunk of 14.3mb x8 plus the last file called *.sfv
winace doesn't handle it and neither does winrar. wonder what it could be
btw: it's a game for windows |

Just a thought since winrar will handle chunks like what you describe have you tried extracting all but the *.sfv? |

no crystaldragon. winrar will not handle the rest if the file either.
now i got to verify the files on quickSFV. does anyone know how to extract the contained files in the chunks? qiucksfv doesn't extract the files. it just makes them. |

Chances are, those files are in .rar format. What you should try to do, is list the files in dos. One of them will be called the "rar archive", and the others .r00, .r01, etc. You have to start uncompressing from the rar archive, or else it won't work.
And as for the sfv file, you should use pdsfv: here it is
Works a bit faster, and has other neat features.
If all else fails, chances are, you didn't download whatever you wanted to download right. Hope this helps! |
