I know american law is pretty strong in that you have to list all possible side-effects. but can you imagine seeing something like this in a warrenty agreement.

Warning may interfere with cat flap, we will not be responsible for any damage caused to either cat flap or cat.

Almost a story to tell the grand kids

"Have you tried holding the cat while running linux?"
lol

try this script

Code:
#! /usr/bin/catflap

$scratches = `hit cat`;

$mess =  join("$catflap", @sellotape );
@fixed = split ( scisors, $mess );

This has got to be the funniest thread I've read yet! That's one strange dilemma you got going there, thekemp.

thekemp:

Where on earth did you find a product like that???

If you could give a web address or something, that would solve so many problems we've been having...

Not so farfetched after all...

This whole thread is hilarious, but the notion of wired cat doors isn't completely crazy. There's a house in Holland that is wired to a fair-thee-well, including a cat tracker (food dish AND litterbox!). Web cams are tied to databases to track the doorbell, the trash, the fridge, the microwave and more. Has to be seen to be believed.
