sorry guys just got up! 10am here!
anyway i forgot all about this tread until mickwish PM'd me.
story is when i was running windows my monitor was set to 85hz refresh, in linux xfree86 was running at 60hz even though i specified 85hz must have been a small bug, it was the monitor making the cat door go wild when every i boted into linux.
some people thought the catdoor was being controled by linux via cable but it is a standalone thing!
before i knew of the problem i swaped the door with a battery power one and it still did the same thing and can you imagine my face when i found out a monitor refresh rate was making a cat door which is around 10 metres away go crazy! |
