Need help with user accts. Win Xp Pro

I created other user accounts in Win XP Pro., and I want to use the welcome screen to be able to click the account name and log on. When i first log on though, it taked me straight to the administratopt account, and not the welcome page which gives you the choice to select between accounts.

I have checked the "use welcome screen" box in the log on and log off options in user accounts, but this didn't change anything. I s there another setting I should know about.

Do you just have the Administrator account, then a single user afterwhich? Any after those two it should automatically ask you to login. I have mine set to just the Admin account and my account (with no password) and it automatically logs into mine.

I have it set to the asministrator no password and two accounts after that, no passwords.

I was using Xp home, and it worked fine. I went to Xp Pro, and now this prob. Not a real biggie, just curious.

That's strange. I'm sure it would make you log in if you set a pass for at least one (best for admin account) ... not sure why it would work in Home but not Pro though.

Didn't even work when I created a password for administrator, nor did it ask for a password when I restarted.
