Do I really need another version of Office? When does the law of diminishing returns kick in?
I've got to admit, picking up a new version of Office for $150 and getting a free DVD burner sounds tempting, but I think I'll hold off. |

Didn't one of his OS's crash the last time he did a live demo?

Yeah, it was 98 and they were touting how big "USB" was going to be. BSOD!
He sure does say "Uh" a lot.
"I, uh, was, uh, uh, what, uh, was, uh, uh, uh, what was I, uh, uh, oh yeah, uh, uh, uh, I'm in love with ,uh, uh, Steve Ballmer, uh."
EDIT - This page has a bunch of clips, along w/ the 98 BSOD. |

My Office 2003 media should arrive sometime this week , been running the RTM on a few test machines for some time.
The new UI is a matter of taste, although I find the rounded toolbars and random gradient fills to be a step back from the clean professionalism of the previous release.
However some of the new features look interesting including the support for access to Exchange 2003 servers via HTTP and the increased integration with Sharepoint Server.
Regards
ed
