| burning an iso file
hi, i download a game named battlefield, and when i try opening that file it says its not a valid win 32, so i opened winrar and select the file and then click on repair and received this:
Battlefield 1942 full version (4real!).exe
Detecting archive type...
---> ISO9660
WinRAR can repair only RAR and ZIP archives
Done
so i dobleclick the file from winrar and saw this archives:
NAME TYPE
autorun application
autorun information about installation
disk2.bzf BZF file
nwn acdsee6 ico image
setup setup options
so i extract does file in a folder and try running the autorun aplication and it says (please insert the Neverwinter Nights "Install Disk 1")
and the file autorun (info about installation says):
[autorun]
OPEN=autorun.exe
ICON=nwn.ICO
[Disk]
Disk=2
Label2=Neverwinter Nights
[Messages]
InsertInstall=Please insert the Neverwinter Nights 'Install Disk 1'.
InsertPlay=Please insert the Neverwinter Nights 'Play Disk'.
Language=0
and the file setup (setup options file says):
[Info]
Disk=2
so i will really apreciate if somebody can help me or guide through the installation of this.
thanks |

If its an iso file then you have to burn it with your CD burning software as an image. Here Its for the program called Nero, if you have another program to burn CD's then you can post it here and I can find information for you.

ok first of all, downlaoding games is illegal if they are not free, and BF is not free, and we dont deal with illegal things here
second, it appears in your attempt to download this game you got a different game, that doesnt help you.... suggestion deleted
4th, you need a program like nero that has burn an image file capabilities, this will burn an ISO cd.
5th, i suggest that you just buy a copy of BF1942. believe me it will save you a lot of hassle. people often sell it cheap on these forums. edited by GZ3

kind of a guess but based on the filename and such that appears to be a pirated copy of the software. Simple solution, go buy the game |

| I agree but I thought to tell that was not of my business, so I just didnt remind him. But moderators would probably do that. And I agree buying it will save you alot of time.
