Photo album software

Any one have some software they really like to organize your scanned and digital photos into albums? Want to be able to burn CDs for family and friends. Would you please state what you like or dislike about it. My sister has software called Flip Album which does a nice job, but is limiting in length of photo descriptions. Something like 16 charactors. Thats not enough. I'd like to be able to write a small paragraph for each pix. Looking for ideas. I do have Photoshop Elements 2.0 and I found that Adobe has a new program called Photoshop Album 2.0. Sold separately or together. That sounds like a good combo to me. . Anybody tried it?Thanks.here

Photoshop album is nice, I have 1.0. It builds a database and pictures can be in multiple categories and such, it will also build a timeline based on the datestamp on the pictures.

Thanks for the one and only reply Silicon. I decided that Photoshop Album 2.0 was what I wanted because I already had Photoshop Elements 2.0. Adobe sells both as a package now. Took about half a day of making mistakes but things are working smooth now. I do like the tags and time line. Good stuff. Backup didn't work all that well but persistance prevailed. Now probably another 6-700 pictures to go. Hope my scanner holds up.
