Claymore Reactions(Anime)

Claymore ended up being an excessive power-up fest.
Plot went bad about half way through. Powers got out of hand.
I hope they dont plan on doing a second season.
Reminded me of FNS alot. Plot starts out at a good pace. Then the ending gets way out of hand. Why the obsessive amount of characters as well? They spend a few episodes on a select amount of characters, but then try to develope other characters in a few minutes. I couldnt even differieniate some of the characters faces in the end: since there was about 30 blond chicks with the same outfit.
Comparison: So your at the arcade playing Marvel vs Capcom for a few hours having a good time. A New Character joins the game ever so often which makes it interesting. Then suddenly, 3 Characters join the game. Right after you beat them BARELY, 5 stronger characters join the game. While 10 of the best players on the planet sit behind you watching and waiting to jump in if necessary.And if that isnt enough, the creator of the game could jump in at any moment and use a single move and kill everyone.
As you can tell, I didnt like the second half of the season. The Teresa arc should of been the ending....

 |  I read the manga before watching the show... Madhouse did a great job transfering the manga to the anime.. Altought the did some not very noticeable changes that suddendly became very noticeable.. The anime followed the manga up to Pieta... Pieta part is where the most was changed for the anime ending... It was not a bad ending, people just wanted to follow the manga faithfully like it was doing up to that part... But if they followed the manga the anime would have finished in a very anticlimatic way with no resolution at all. The manga is ongoing but its only released once per month... I took almost 4 years and like 90% was consumed in the anime... I suggest that everyone that watched the anime, take some time to read the manga.. |

| |  I dont really like action genre manga. But I may delve into the last few to see how it originally ended. Pieta was horrible. Fighting giant Awakened Beings was lame. Claymores normally didnt show much fear, which I liked. But in Pieta, personalities totally changed. Clare powering up and the Teresa flashbacks were abused. They should of stuck with a simplier ending. Rising action --> Climax --> Falling Action --> Resolution The Teresa arc had some of the strongest fighters, and great fight scenes. Why the sudden change to power-ups, enormous opponents, and one-sided fights that suddenly FLIP around. It really wasnt all that bad. But I had higher expectations for it. |

| | Actually you never saw Teresa fighting an awakened being.. But in contrast Pieta arc in manga was better handled also the manga provides more info about the actions of the four abyssal and the organization.. There is some stuff moving in the background of having claymores at Pieta to hold the awakened beings.. This was not shown in the anime. |
