Gator Bowl (Club Tennis Tourny)

This weekend, played in a club tournament. Alabama, USF, UCF, FSU, UGA, FIU, Eckerd, and Rollins all brought a few teams. We had a 32round draw.

On saturday, I played two singles and two doubles matches. Won all of them. Although Alabama gave us some trouble second round. We didnt finish that last doubles match till 9:30PM, and we won in a 3rd set tie breaker.

This mourning we played in the semi-finals against UCF (A Team). I only played singles and lost 6-3. 6-4. The other singles player(who is pretty good) lost 6-2, 6-1. His opponent was like a 6' 4 German pro. His opponennt was hitting winners off his 115MPH serve

Then one of out doubles won, the other lost.


The finals will be UCF (A team) Vs Our other UF team. It should be close.

Even though I was on the UF (A team), our B team was slightly better b/c our president decided to "stack" his team....

But it was a fun tournament. I havent played singles matches in like 2-3 years, so it was enjoyable for me.
